I've been a dental patient at Star Dental for over 20 years. I have always believed that dental work should be painless without getting knocked-out, and now with today's technology and the expertise of Dr. Sonny and Fara Afshar they have it down to perfection! Even though they are the experts, they actually listen to me and my concerns on any pending proceedure. They are both attentive, caring and strict professionals at the same time. Even though they are always extremely busy, they don't rush your procedure, or just try to get you out the door to get to the next patient! Their staff are probably trained to perform in the same manner, and 90% of the time they have! The cost of their work is probably higher than most, but if they can they will work with you on the pricing! The updated technology and the environment in their practice will be hard to compete with! You won't go wrong if you choose to give them the opportunity to treat and serve you!

Start of the art office with competent wonderful clinicians. Everything was explained clearly with no push to buy any services. I felt comfortable at a dentist office which kid a change. Rather than telling me what’s going on, they showed me and explained various ways I can improve my oral health. Everyone was nice and polite. Appointment ran on time. No complaints. Very thankful to have found my new dentist.

Such an amazing office with the nicest staff that are like a family and when you walk in, they make you feel part of the family. The office was super clean, and everyone was vaccinated, professional, and friendly.Dr. Fara knows her craft thoroughly well. She is patience personified. She is highly knowledgeable, very gentle, takes time to put the patient at ease, and keeps you informed as she works on your teeth. I had 3 teeth worked on in during this visit, including two temporary crowns. I left very happy with the attention and care that I received from Dr. Fara and her two great assistants Anita and Bianca. I would not go anywhere else after coming here. I highly recommend Star Dental in Roseville to anyone looking for a 5-star Dentist in this area.Dr. Fara and her team ROCK!

The first thing I've noticed was the beautiful decor. It feels like you are in a hollywood/chic dental office, yet the people are all down to earth. Everyone (front desk, assistants, hygienist, dentist...etc) I've met or come in contact here are extremely nice and helpful! I love the positive energy! I also enjoy the education and explanations. I am always curious so I ask a lot of questions about each procedure, and the tools, and techniques etc... They have been more than willing to answer my questions and educate me on what's going on. I absolutely love that!

Another great visit. I suffer from panic disorder and when I started to have a panic attack during my procedure (crown) Anita and Dr. Fara took the best care of me. Anita rushed and got a cold damp cloth and spoke to me in such a caring and soothing manner. Dr. Fara too spoke to me with care and concern. I quickly felt at ease which is not easy for me. The work was painless and didn't take very long. Anita made me the best fitting temporary crown I think I've ever had. I always feel like I'm in really good hands with Dr. Fara and Anita. I really never want anyone to ever touch my mouth but them. I've had a couple of really painful experiences with other dentists, but Dr. Fara and Anita will not allow me to feel pain or discomfort while I'm there. They are a godsend for someone who is extra like me and needs more TLC than most. Grateful to have found them.

These people are the best! Dr Sonny Afshar and His Wife whom they call Dr Farrah are amazing dentists. I have had excellent care here and when a problem cropped up this weekend I was well taken care of by a very caring staff member Cameo. I hope I’m spelling that right I did ask once if they were connected with a chain of offices with the same name and they are not. It is a family business with two offices.

Beautiful offices, very clean and bright, everyone from the receptionist to the doctor cordial and smiling. Though the procedures were painful (in general knowledge), I was "well-numbed" so it wasn't at all as awful as I was expecting. Need to get back there at least twice more and I don't dread it at all!

I’m a terrible patient and do my best to avoid the dentist, but I really enjoy Star Dental due to their wonderful staff and care. Until recently I’ve only been in for cleanings since I’ve never had a cavity or any dental issues and have always appreciated the pride they take in their work. Unfortunately, due to an accident where my nephew knocked out an incisor with a racquet, I had to have the tooth extracted, a bone graft, and, eventually, an implant. This is a long, awful and expensive procedure, but the bright spot in all this is Star Dental. They’ve been thorough and, as usual, so nice to see and work with. The staff and dentist have also been great walking me through the entire process.

I've always been fearful of dentists so finding the "calm" I experience at Star Dental with Dr. Fara has been a real blessing to me. She and her staff go beyond "caring" for your needs. I have had several procedures (cleaning, crowns) done by now. Staff is always helpful and pleasant. Both dentists I have seen have been very good (no pain and good results). The hygienists have all done a very thorough job. My only concern is "too many x-rays". I have voiced my concerns and I feel I have been heard.

The staff and Doctors are very thorough and pleasant. I have always had issues with gagging. When they told me I had to have full set of X-Rays done; needless to say, I felt the anxiety coming on. Cameo assured me it wouldn't take more than 6 or 7 minutes and it would be painless. She was right! They were the easiest pain free X-Rays I ever had. Although I need work done on my teeth I feel more at ease with the staff and Doctors and that they will do a good job.

I am a new patient and my experience thus far has been very good. Everyone in the office and in the clinic has been friendly but professional. My first exam seemed quite thorough as was my first cleaning, and my first procedure (crown) painless. The statement of work was somewhat confusing at first, but later clarified to my satisfaction.Tooth pain brought me back this week for another visit. I saw a different dentist this time: Dr. LaChapelle. She was very courteous; answered all my questions and diagnosed my condition as requiring a root canal, but suggested I get confirmation from a Endodontist who did confirm her diagnosis and who will perform the procedure.

The front office staff is the best of the best, they are nice and understanding and do the best they can to accommodate your schedule. The Doctors dental work is just as good and any pain or soreness I’ve had after my procedures has always went away within a few days. I choose to drive 30 minutes out of the way to come to this office for those reasons. Other dentists I’ve gone to tend to make your teeth hurt more after they are done then they did before you went. When I go to Star Dental I know that my teeth will be in better shape when I leave and for that....THANK YOU!

My experience with the staff of Star dental was nothing short of terrific. Susanna greeted me and then Leticia showed great concern and kindness as I awaited my appointment. Cameo was very professional and lovely to work with. I cannot think of a single thing that was negative.
